Richard Marvin Tiberius Grove, otherwise known to friends as Tai, lives in Presqu’ile Provincial Park where he is publisher of Wet Ink Books and is the Poet Laureate of Brighton, Ontario. He is a Poet, Prose Writer, Editor, Publisher, Photographer, Painter and President of the Canadian Caribbean Literary Alliance. His many titles of poetry, novels, YA novels and memoir can be found at eStores around the world.
He is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art, and Arts Administration at Humber College. He studied art history, religious ethics and philosophy at the University of Toronto, as well as publishing and design at George Brown College.
This deeply meditative poet looks at the flight of the sparrows of life. Their twitter unfolds memories of the world. Through these often simple but well-crafted letter poems the poet seems to realise that there is no definite destination for him. His walk has no destination, yet he must walk.

Poems in this confident collection deeply meditate upon human relationships, the places, the seasons of memory, the human solitariness, the simple daily happenings, even the crispness of the air. The unpretentious clarity these poems bring reflect the poet’s subtle mind. Tai is a committed soul maker. With these letter poems he takes us on a journey where the world is mapped through the doors of hearts.
The Editor,
Dr. Jaydeep Sarangi

The letter poems in this fine book will hold out and linger, as they are little gems that tell us of a man’s own world, but they will also echo in the readers as they will see themselves reflected therein. In sparking such a bond, this book becomes indelible. Every reader, regardless of age, gender or literary preference, will “remember the fireflies,” as Grove told his dearest Kimber in one of these letter poems.
