K.V. Skene was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, grew up in Lachine Que., subsequently lived in various parts of Ontario and BC until moving ‘temporarily’ to England where, except for a year in Ireland, she remained for eighteen years. In 2011 she returned to Canada and is now ensconced in mid-town Toronto. Her poetry has appeared in anthologies and journals within Canada, US, UK, Australia, Austria, Ireland, India and China. Recent publications include Unoriginal Sins, erbacce-press (UK) plus a chapbook, The Love Life of Bus Shelters, Cinnamon Press (UK). KV is currently a member of The Ontario Poetry Society, The League of Canadian Poets, The Canada Cuba Literary Association and The Poetry Society (UK).
